Tesla Motors est un nouveau constructeur américain né d'un projet de deux entrepreneurs de la Silicon Valley qui a donné naissance à un roadster électrique (3,95m de long, 1,87l de large et 1,12m de haut) qui repose sur un chassis en structure d'aluminium. La Tesla est un mue par un petit moteur électrique de 251Ch à 13500tr/mn couplé a un boîte à 2 rapports. Toute la puissance est transmise aux roues arrières. Elle passe de 0 à 100 km/h en 4 secondes environ. Autonomie des batterie 400Km Le prix 92000$
